The Challenges

I wanted to be the best athlete that I could possibly be so I thought that my investment in personalized coaching services was the way to go. Although I had some prior experience completing long bike rides, I was new to the sports of swimming and running and needed a coach to help me maximize my potential in these sports. I worked with a different coach before joining Triumph Endurance Coaching and had an awful experience.

The Achievements

Since joining the team I’ve completed the Boston marathon, two half ironman races, numerous Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons, and some half marathons and 5K races. I’m faster than I’ve ever been in my entire life and have gotten on the podium for a few of my races. I have attained my goals and am the best athlete that I can possible be because of Triumph Endurance Coaching.

What was your life like before Triumph Endurance Coaching?

Before I signed up with Triumph Endurance Coaching (TEC), I had been a triathlete for one year. I did some small races and a half ironman by following a training program recommended to me from a book. I was signed up for the Boston marathon and another half ironman for the following year, and really wanted to invest in coaching services to make my race efforts more successful.

What made Triumph Endurance Coaching stand out from other coaches?=

Triumph Endurance Coaching offered personalized coaching services at a very reasonable price! They were attentive, professional, prompt in responding to messages, and very personable. I became part of a family when I joined Triumph Endurance Coaching. They have always given me an abundance of support and encouragement that has not only made me so successful in my triathlon endeavors but in my life itself.

What services sold you on joining Triumph?

The one-on-one coaching, unlimited texting and phone calls with my coach, access to all of my data on Training Peaks, monthly workouts with my coach, and frankly, the personality of my coach, who is extremely personable and easy to talk to. I feel very comfortable talking to him about any performance issues I am having.

What has exceeded your expectations since working with us?

TEC has always made me feel like family. I worked with a different coach before joining TEC and had an awful experience. The person was slow in responding to me and often failed to address my questions and concerns. TEC always responded to me and quickly! They made me feel special and always made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed.

What's the main reason you recommend our coaching services?

Excellent training plans and personalized attention given to each athlete!

What surprised you the most about working with a coach?

It surprised me just how beneficial having a coach was for me. Yes, my coach gives me structured workouts that are designed just for me, but more than that, he’s excited when I do well and meet my goals, but he’s also there to encourage and support me when I’m having a bad training day or race. The support, during the good times and the bad times, is something I never experienced and is so crucial to my ongoing success.

What would you tell someone who is considering Triumph Endurance Coaching?

TEC is dedicated to making athletes the best they can possibly be, both physically and mentally. If you are looking to be successful in the sport and are looking for coaches who truly care about their athletes, go with TEC! You won’t regret it!

Do you plan to compete/race again in the future?

Yes. I am competing in my first Ironman race next year and am so happy I have TEC to prepare me for this goal!
